道 (pronounced "doh")
In Japanese, the kanji 道 (pronounced "doh") translates to 'way or set of practices' as well as 'road or path'. Our name, Curry DŌ, means 'the way of curry'. We focus on the mastery of curry and we aim to pave the way to where tradition meets creativity.
Serving OC Since 2020
Since 2020 Curry DŌ has been serving authentic Japanese curry to Orange County with a unique twist. With locations in Tustin and Costa Mesa, we focus on simple quality: freshly prepared dishes, customizable spice levels, and a menu that’s both bold and approachable.
Setting A New Standard
Slow-cooked over 24 hours with fresh veggies, caramelized onions, and spices like garam masala, turmeric, and cumin—our curry dishes are always fresh, flavorful, and served with a warm welcome.
From our sizzling stone pot ishiyaki curry and the first establishment to serve braised pork belly curry, Curry DŌ has unique dishes only available at Curry DŌ.
Not Just Curry
Aside from our hearty curry plates, we also offer donburi rice bowls, chicken wings, and a refreshing lemon cold udon soup. Every plate is crafted to balance comfort and flavor.
